When is Arkaan coming out?
Soon, in sha Allah. Arkaan is in its final checks before it goes to the App Store, and this site will have the download link on the day.
Is Arkaan free?
Yes. Prayer times, alerts, the Qibla, the Quran, hadith, duas and every guide are free, always. Arkaan Pro is optional.
The times differ from my mosque
Open Settings and choose the calculation method your mosque uses, and Hanafi or standard Asr. To match it exactly, use Adjust times to move any prayer by a few minutes.
The Adhaan did not play
Check that notifications for Arkaan are allowed in your iPhone’s Settings, and that a Focus is not silencing them. When your iPhone is on silent, alerts appear without sound. An iPhone alert can play up to 30 seconds, so the Adhaan plays its opening.
The Qibla looks wrong
Move away from metal, magnets and speakers, then calibrate: hold your iPhone flat and move it in a figure eight a few times. The accuracy under the compass shows when it is ready.
Restoring Arkaan Pro
Sign in with the Apple Account you bought it with, then open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Family members with Family Sharing get Pro automatically.
Gifts and invite links
To give Pro, open Settings and tap Give Arkaan Pro as a gift, then send the link it gives you. To receive a gift, open the link on the iPhone where you use Arkaan, or type the code in Settings, Enter a gift or invite code.
I found a mistake in the religious content
Please tell us, from Contact support in Arkaan’s Settings or by email. Religious content is reviewed by scholars before each release.
Deleting your data
Everything Arkaan keeps is on your device and is removed when you delete the app. For invite and gift records on our server, email us with your invite code.
