Terms of use

The agreement

By using Arkaan you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Arkaan is made by Mukhtar App World (Faisal Mukhtar), Mumbai, India.

Arkaan Pro

• Monthly and Yearly are subscriptions that renew automatically. In some countries Apple also offers Yearly paid in 12 monthly payments, with a 12-month commitment.
• Lifetime is a single payment and does not renew.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that.
• You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
• With Family Sharing, Arkaan Pro is shared with up to five family members at no extra cost.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple’s rules.

Gifts of Arkaan Pro

• A gift is a one-time purchase of one month or one year of Arkaan Pro for someone else. It does not renew and does not give the buyer Pro.
• It gives Pro to whoever opens the gift link first, or, if you chose someone in need, to a person who asks for help in the app.
• Each gift can be received once. Keep the link private until you send it.
• A gift can be refunded only to the person who bought it, through Apple, and cannot be exchanged for money.

Sharing and invite rewards

• Sharing Arkaan can unlock 3 days of Arkaan Pro, once every 30 days.
• Each first-time install through your invite link adds one day of Arkaan Pro for you, up to 30 days in any 30.
• These are thank-yous with no cash value. We may change or end them, and remove rewards gained by misuse.

Religious content

Prayer times are calculated from your location and the method you choose, and can differ from your local mosque by a few minutes; when in doubt, follow your mosque. The Qibla direction depends on your device’s compass, so calibrate it and check. The Quran text comes from the Tanzil Project, translations of the meanings from QuranEnc.com, and hadith from HadeethEnc.com, shown as they publish them. The zakat calculator is a guide. Arkaan is a helper, not a fatwa: for rulings, ask a qualified scholar.

Limits

Arkaan is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Mukhtar App World is not responsible for losses from using it, such as a missed or mistimed prayer. These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them; the date on this page shows the latest version.
